Please note: We do not accept payment information via phone, email, or through our help centre.
All transactions need to be processes through the CBC Gem app or website.
You cannot update your payment information on our Fire TV or Android TV apps. You will need to update your information on the platform you signed up to Premium on.
Updating your credit card on the CBC Gem website
If you have set up your premium subscription directly on the CBC Gem website, please follow these instructions.
We suggest using a web browser on a personal computer to update your payment information.
You may encounter issues using a web browser on a mobile device.
Assuming you are already signed in to the CBC Gem website (gem.cbc.ca), select My Gem from the top right corner of the screen and select Account
If you are not yet logged in, select Sign In, which will be located in the same spot, and sign in with your Gem credentials.
You will be taken to the Account screen. From here, ensure that your Subscription Status is Premium - Monthly
Locate your VISA or MasterCard under Payment method.
To update your payment information select the Pencil icon directly to the right of your card number.
This is the Modify my payment method button.
Enter the card details and billing address of your new card on the next screen.
When you're done, select Continue
Your payment method will now be updated.
When your subscription renews, you will be charged on your new card.

Updating your payment information through Apple
Apple - You can change the payment information in your Apple ID Settings on your iPhone, iPad or on your computer using iTunes. For more information visit Apple Support: Change or remove your Apple ID payment information.
You cannot update your Apple payment information via the CBC Gem website.
Updating your payment information through Google Pay
Android - You will need to update your payment information through Google.

You cannot update your Google Pay payment information via the CBC Gem website.
Updating your payment information through Roku Pay
Roku- You will need to update your payment information through Roku.
